Thank you all for fasting with us and praying with us.  Let us continue to pray for believers and patriots in Florida in the wake of the hurricane. Thanks be to God the reports we have received even from waterfront properties in Naples are that the believers who prayed and fasted for protection have emerged spared.

We hope to have one amazing story to share with you that came to our attention around the storm next week.

Thank you for believing and recognizing that your effort to fast with us each Wednesday and Friday move the needle on history as well as protect your family.

Recall the words from scripture, Matthew 13:58:

And he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Even Jesus!

When believers had such little faith, He could do little to help them.

In contrast consider Acts 19:12 where simple physical objects that were in the presence of St. Paul brought healing when laid upon the sick:

so that handkerchiefs or aprons from his body were brought unto the sick, and the diseases departed from them and the evil spirits went out of them.

It is likely the correct translation of that object is not a handkerchief but Paul’s prayer shawl or vestment … but a simple object touched by one of the saints brought deliverance and healing?

Or consider Acts 5

¹⁵ As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

Even Peter’s shadow brought healing!

Reflect on the contrast between those three passages – Jesus’ inability to perform mighty works in the absence of faith … vs. the miracles that surrounded objects and shadows where there was faith.

Heaven ascribes belief as righteousness – Thank you for fasting with us and believing in Heaven’s miracles.  

Let’s savor this day even though we are fasting and this autumn weekend ahead the Lord gives us no matter where we are or what our circumstances. May all good blessings be yours.

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land by freeing them while enlightening Americans how to bring God's justice back to our nation.

7) For young Megan who has an incurable liver condition @ Duke Hospital - Asking the Divine Physician for a complete healing.
